HEATCON to partner with Solvay, expand composite material offerings
The partnership focuses on a variety of consumable products used during the repair process of aircraft composite parts.
HEATCON Composite Systems (Seattle, WA, US) announced on Oct. 30 that their composite material product line will expand due to a recent partnership with Solvay (Alpharetta, GA, US). The companies signed a global distribution partnership allowing HEATCON to distribute a variety of Solvay process material products.
The Solvay partnership focuses on a variety of consumable products used during the repair process of aircraft composite parts. Such a strategic alliance with HEATCON will allow Solvay to achieve maximum cohesion of base materials. The extensive line of Solvay products includes: vacuum bagging films, breather fabrics, release films, peel piles, release fabrics, flash tapes and sealant tapes.
HEATCON is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of aerospace composite repair equipment and products; ISO9001:2015, AS9100D, and AS9120B certified. The company is also an authorized distributor for HEXCEL, 3M, and a small quantity supplier for Toray.
