Belgium-Netherlands event brings together industry leader insight on TPC, FRP recycling

(Brussels, Belgium), Brightlands Materials Center (Geleen, Netherlands) and  (Brussels) are hosting the first edition of a cross-border, expert-driven event dedicated to accelerating the circular use of thermoplastic composites (TPC) and fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP) by bringing together the local ecosystem.

The free, , “From Recyclable to Reliable: Scaling Circular Thermoplastic Composites” is taking place in BluePoint, Antwerp, Belgium, on Nov. 12, 2025 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. CET. 

This in-person gathering aims to bring together industry leaders, technology providers, researchers and end-users from Belgium, the Netherlands and beyond to:

  • Exchange insights on fiber-reinforced thermoplastic recycling
  • Share inspiration for the thermoset recycling industry
  • Build and strengthen a circular ecosystem across borders
  • Lay the foundation for a recurring annual event alternating between Belgium and the Netherlands.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Raphaël Pleynet (EuCIA) on the European Circular Composites Alliance
  • Veerle Van Steen (Agoria) on waste legislation in Belgium and the ELV directive
  • Hans Luinge (SpiralRTC – Rein4ced) on innovative recycling technologies.
