Eastman Machine Co. (Buffalo, NY, US), manufacturer of (CNC) cutting systems engineered for cutting composites, has announced that effective Nov. 8 it is certified under ISO 9001:2015 standards by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system. Eastman acknowledged the importance of establishing a formal quality policy with well-defined and regularly reviewed processes and procedures.
ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 162 national standards bodies.
