Azco Corp. presents servo-controlled unwind and rewind unit
The cantilever-designed unit is able to transfer between unwinding and rewinding via a change in the direction, torque and speed, controlled by an HMI touch screen.
Azco Corp. (Fairfield, N.J., U.S.) has designed and manufactured a servo control unwind technology complete with a digital operator control panel which can be used for the filament winding process or any other application where a user needs to unwind fiber.

The unwind, which also works as a rewind unit, features a cantilever design. Azco says users can go from unwind to rewind by changing the direction, torque and speed, which is controlled via the HMI color touch screen. The unit is compact in design with easy mounting. An optional air shaft can be included. The machine is said to be low maintenance, requiring minimal upkeep.
Azco Corp. designs and manufactures modules and units used to feed, cut and place products. The company’s concept is based on a building block model. Standard modules and units can be purchased alone or in combination to build customized solutions. Azco is an ISO 9001:2015-certified company with more than 38 years of experience developing solutions for a wide range of feeding and cutting applications in the U.S.
