CompPair adds swift prepreg line to HealTech Standard product family
The HealTech Standard product family from CompPair has been expanded with the addition of CS02, a swift prepreg line.

CS02 is a swift prepreg line from (Renens, Switzerland) being added to the HealTech Standard product family. The prepreg line is said to offer reduced cycle time for a press process while maintaining embedded healing. The CS02 line provides an initial cure cycle time of 50 minutes at 170°C, followed by post-cure cycles.
According to the company, CS02 has been tailored to enable faster production manufacturing for the sports, leisure and industrial sectors. It is targeted at press applications, but it can also be used out of autoclave (OOA) and in autoclave. A process database is available upon request.
“CompPair’s strength is to respond to market needs with our innovative technology and know-how,” says Robin Trigueira, CTO and co-founder of CompPair. “We have engineered this composite system to support market requests for a reduced cycle time prepreg with the same extended lifetime
thanks to healing.”
The company says it has validated the healing, bending and tensile properties of this composite system with its internal standards. It is said to provide additional benefits to composite structures such as improved damping, low porosities, extended fatigue life and impact resistance.
CompPair supplies a range of fibers including carbon and glass, as well as special textiles, including sustainable and recycled fibers. CS02 can be requested for first assessments with various glass and carbon fibers, as well as custom reinforcements.
