BriskHeat enhances silicone rubber blanket line
Composite curing heating blankets under the company’s SR Series are ultra-flexible, produce uniform heat up to 450ºF and are now compatible with any hot bonder plug.

BriskHeat Corp. (Columbis, Ohio, U.S.), a company that offers surface and immersion heating products, controllers and insulators, unveils its enhanced SR Series Composite Curing Heating Blankets (SR Series). The silicone rubber blankets are ultra-flexible, up to 0.25” (6 mm) radii and are reported to be even more reliable. They also come with a three-year warranty, extended from the previous two-year warranty.
According to BriskHeat, the blankets provide an efficient, non-stress way to produce uniform heat up to 450ºF. They are moisture-, chemical- and radiation-resistant and compatible with BriskHeat’s ACR hot bonders
and a wide variety of power plugs.
Used in industries including aerospace, aviation, marine, sporting goods, automotive and military, the flexible blankets are said to be suitable for leading and trailing edge applications. They can be used on both
horizontal and vertical surfaces and provide a smooth surface against repairs, leaving no imprints. Custom designs are available.
