Refitech launches carbon fiber composite telescopic tube
The lightweight RefiFLEX TS pole22 is said to be ideal for carrying audiovisual equipment and applications in the hospitality and medical industries.

On October 6, (Waalwijk, Netherlands) launched an ultra-compact and lightweight telescopic tube for audiovisual applications and the hospitality industry. The four-piece RefiFLEX TS pole22 is said to weigh less than 200 grams, measures only 50 centimeters when retracted and can be continuously extended up to a maximum of 150 centimeters. Swivel couplings with rubber grip enable parts to be clamped in place quickly and easily. The telescope is supplied with a protection bag and is fitted with two metal 1/4"- 1/4" and 1/4"- 3/8" screw adapters, for connecting a video or photo camera, a microphone, or other equipment.
The rod can easily fit into a backpack and is ideal for carrying reporters’ or vloggers’ microphones, the company says, or for use passing medical or other equipment between socially distanced workers in the hospitality or medical industries.
“At Refitech, we are always working on new smart product solutions based on standard carbon components, in line with what customers are looking for,” says Bas Nijpels, sales engineer at Refitech. “The TS pole22 was created because we were asked for a light, compact and short telescope. Our goal was to stay under 250 grams and we more than succeeded.”
In addition, Refitech has also developed Twister and Extender inserts for customers looking for longer solutions. The inserts can extend the rod up to 4 meters in length.
Refitech adds that the rods are designed and developed at its Waalwijk, Netherlands site, and are produced and assembled in large batches at its manufacturing site in Ningbo, China.
