EHang commences Yunfu production facility operations
The retrofitted autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV) production facility, which includes a carbon fiber composite materials processing area, is to scale up company production capabilities and cover approximately 24,000 square meters.

On July 26 EHang Holdings Ltd. (Guangzhou, China), an autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV) technology platform company, and the developer of the EHang 216 which incorporates composite materials, has announced that, as scheduled, it commenced operations at its new AAV production facility in Yunfu, China, in late June 2021. The new facility represents a scale-up of the company’s production capabilities.
As EHang’s new AAV production site, the Yunfu facility has total planned gross floor area of approximately 24,000 square meters. The site is equipped with a series of function areas across the whole production process from components manufacturing to aircraft assembling. It will reportedly house AAV assembly lines, CNC processing center, carbon fiber composite materials processing area and more, including a research and training center.
