Compa Repairs signs agreement to extend composite ship repair services
The partnership brings Croatia-based Compa Repairs closer to establishing its ship repair service network globally.

(Rijeka, Croatia), a company that specializes in the application of composite patching to damaged ship structures and pipes, reports that it has signing three partnership agreements with international marine companies, (Vari, Greece), (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and (Budapest, Hungary). Combined with previous market agreements in Cyprus, Latin and South America, Compa says it is one step closer to establishing its cost-efficient ship repair service network on on-board ships’ repairs worldwide.
Oceantech Shipping & Trading Ltd. is offering technical support and spare parts solutions to the international shipping market. Compa says the agreement makes Oceantech the exclusive Compa commercial and marketing agent in Greece and Cyprus. Hungarian company Tanxperts is focused on consulting, inspection and repair of tanks. As part of the agreement, the Tanxperts team has had Compa training, including a one-day lecture and three days of exercises. Additionally, Compa notes that Farol serviços is engaged in the development of innovative solutions for maintenance and repair in the marine and energy industries, enabling the expansion of Compa Repairs service availability in Latin and South American markets.
Compa Repairs says all partner agreements are a part of the project, Compa 2GO - Composite Repairs for Ships: Service Demonstration, Certification and Market Entry, financed under the EU’s Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Phase 2 program.
