CAMX announces NASA administrator will present opening keynote
Jim Bridenstine, the 13th administrator of NASA, will present on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 from 12:15-1:00 p.m. ET.

With less than a month left until North America’s largest composites and advanced materials industry event, CAMX, the Composites and Advanced Materials Exposition announced on August 31 new updates to its 2020 virtual conference program.
According to CAMX, Jim Bridenstine, the 13th administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), will present the opening keynote for the virtual conference. More specifically, he will present about the benefits of government agencies during trying times, and discuss why NASA still invests money into R&D to keep technology moving forward and how it sustains advancements during downtime. Finally, Bridenstine will tie together technology developments to advanced materials and materials development, and conclude with an overview of the opportunities for business development partnerships with NASA for large corporations as well as small businesses.
Bridenstine will present on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 from 12:15-1:00 p.m. ET.
It is noted that Bridenstine joins a robust roster of experts at the year’s only virtual conference for the composites and advanced materials industry. Isabell Gradert, the Material Fast Track leader at Airbus and general advisor for materials technology to the CTO, will be this years’ general session speaker. Gradert will be covering Airbus’ long-term sustainability ambition to be the world’s first aircraft manufacturer to market a zero-emission aircraft by 2035, and explore how Airbus is getting there and the role materials and composite technologies will play, which will occur Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020 from 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. ET
Prior to CAMX, industry experts will be offering 5 customized tutorials that will connect attendees and instructors for an in-depth learning experience, with ample time for Q&A. These sessions will run from Sept. 8-10.
