Additive Manufacturing Workshop at NAIAS adds capacity
The inaugural event will take place on Jan. 16 at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
The Additive Manufacturing Workshop for Automotive (AMWA), which takes place in conjunction with the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) at the Cobo Center in Detroit on Jan. 16, is expanding. With a week left before the event, conference organizers announced that due to the overwhelming response, extra seating is being added to accommodate more attendees.
The workshop focuses on the intersection of 3D printing and automotive manufacturing. Ford, Siemens, Hackrod, Carbon, Desktop Metal, Renishaw and Sodick headline the program. Topics include full scale production, industry trends, 3D moldmaking, holistic manufacturing and more. The workshop is the only dedicated event at NAIAS discussing how additive production is evolving automotive production.
Registration includes access to the NAIAS Industry Preview, a networking and professional development opportunity that brings together nearly 40,000 automotive professionals and analysts representing over 2,200 companies from around the world.
Event details and registration are available at additiveconference.com/automotive.
