Web Industries Inc. (Marlborough, Mass., U.S.) introduces two brochures highlighting carbon fiber composite solutions for aerospace applications:
“Development Center for Composites Automation” profiles Web’s 10,000-square-foot facility for the development, testing and qualification of new prepreg composites used in automated fiber placement (AFP), automated tape laying (ATL) and other emerging manufacturing processes. The Center is said to help leading aerospace companies optimize their use of composites, shorten development time and move into production ahead of competitors.

The eight-page “Solutions for Aerospace” brochure covers Web’s proven ability to simultaneously support multiple major aircraft development programs. It outlines the full spectrum of Web’s products, services and capabilities, including precision slit tapes, automated ply cutting, thermoplastic formatting, pre-assembled ply kitting and vendor-managed inventory.
