Altair highlights design simulation and optimization software
Altair is presenting its methods and solutions for design, optimization and simulation of composite structures and materials.

The ultra-lightweight seat from CSI Entwicklungstechnik, where advanced composites technology delivered 20% weight reduction, will be displayed on the Altair stand at JEC 2020.
Editor’s note: ÂÌñÏ×ÆÞ received several new product and technology announcements ahead of JEC World 2020, which had been scheduled for March 3-5. Although that exhibition was postponed to May, CW is now publishing the announcements we received. This is one of them.
Global technology company (Troy, Mich., U.S.) is presenting its methods and solutions for design, optimization and simulation of composite structures and materials.
The company is presenting its development and simulation-driven design processes and solutions, driving modern design and manufacturing of composites from capability to capacity, including on-site demonstrations and use-case examples, and a conference session featuring presentations from Altair experts and customers.
The Altair-hosted conference session, “A Complete Composites Simulation Workflow for all Industries,” features presentations from companies including Cikoni, ENGENUITY, GURIT, KTM Technologies GmbH and others, demonstrating how Altair helped them create innovative products and improve their development processes for composites. The session takes place March 3 from 1-3 p.m. in the Agora room.
The Altair booth will highlight a 3D-printed lattice top fairing of a MotoGP motorcycle by KTM Technologies, as well as demonstrations of the new capabilities for composite design utilizing Altair HyperWorks and more.
