Cobra International (Chonburi, Thailand), a manufacturer of advanced composite products for the automotive, water sports, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and industrial sectors, displays several of its high-performance composite solutions manufactured for automotive OEMs, water sports brands and industrial partners.
Cobra Advanced Composites (CAC), Cobra’s automotive business unit, has supplied carbon fiber parts to the automotive sector since 2006. At JEC, CAC highlights the progressive increase in complexity of the composite parts it develops and manufactures through the display of a fully assembled front end from a premium German OEM. The front end consists of a crashworthy, body-colored, visual carbon fiber bonnet, as well as flared and vented carbon fiber fenders. In addition, the autoclaved carbon fiber front bonnet and fender set are available for closer inspection at JEC’s Mobility Planet.
Cobra also showcases its wide technology focus for water sport composites by presenting a portfolio of products including a Flite and Marc Newson special edition prepreg eFoil board, a new wing foiling hydrofoil developed for a premium European brand, a novel carbon fiber-look wing foil board that folds for easy travel, a carbon fiber rowing boat fin and a biocomposite surfboard.
UAV composite end-users are able to view a scale model of a fixed wing drone developed by Composite Drone Division (CDD), Cobra’s in-house drone and UAV specialist team, that details the different airframe and wing construction techniques that CDD can supply depending on the aircraft’s performance and operating requirements.
Attendees are also able to view Cobra’s recyclable carbon fiber furniture that won the company a 2025 JEC Innovation Award in the “Design, Furniture & Home” category. The Loop bar stool, is on display at Cobra’s booth while the Liana meeting table is on display in the Discover Composites exhibition, at the entrance of Hall 6, that features the latest architectural and design innovations.
Finally, Cobra is providing an update on the Elysium carbon fiber ankle and foot orthosis it has developed for the Asian market. Cobra has taken over the manufacturing and assembly of the entire orthosis including pads and attachment straps, providing a one-stop shop for serial production.
“JEC World is the perfect stage to highlight our commitment to innovation and production excellence,” says Danu Chotikapanich, CEO of Cobra International. “All the pieces we are displaying in Paris highlight the precision, performance and reliability that the Cobra team bring to every project.”
