CAMX 2021 exhibit preview: Precision Roll Grinders
Precision Roll Grinders’ custom machining and grinding capabilities enable tolerances up to 40 millionths of an inch.
’ (Lewisport, Ky., U.S.) objective is to provide the value of increased quality and production speed in processes while reducing variation and associated scrap costs. The company uses Six Sigma methods to analyze production and quality data and verify that the precision tolerances are improving the process.
Precision Roll Grinders’ custom machining and grinding capabilities allow for tolerances up to 40 millionths of an inch. Precision Roll Grinders also provide a consistent surface finish that is specific to a customer’s process, ranging from 0.5-250 Ra. According to the company, specialization in a variety pf tungsten carbide coating and chrome coating applications is necessary in the critical manufacturing of prepreg, composites and coating processes.
