Norco facility expansion bolsters aerospace, defense project capacity
An additional 10,000 square feet will accommodate increasing demand for the company’s composite services.

Composite structures manufacturer Norco Composites & GRP (Poole, Dorset, U.K.) announces the development of a 10,000-square-foot facility extension to accommodate the increasing demand for its services in the aerospace and defense industries. This significant expansion will bolster the company’s capacity to manage growing workloads and projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance.
The extension will be equipped with temperature and humidity control systems, ensuring an optimal environment for composites manufacturing. According to Norco, these systems will guarantee consistent quality in every product the company produces. In addition, positive air pressure systems will be employed to maintain a clean and dust-free environment, reducing the risk of contamination and ensuring that products meet the stringent quality and reliability standards required in aerospace and defense industries.
“Norco has always been committed to providing innovative and reliable composite solutions to our clients in the aerospace and defense sectors,” Steve Ross, program manager at the facility, says. “The development of this new extension is an essential step toward fulfilling that commitment while accommodating the growing needs of our customers.”
In December 2022, Norco was awarded new contracts and announced workforce recruitment, and in August 2022 completed its first AS9100D surveillance audit.
