NCAMP releases first additive manufacturing qualification program
The National Center for Advanced Materials Performance’s first qualified additive material is ULTEM 9085 resin from Stratasys.
The National Center for Advanced Materials Performance (NCAMP) at Wichita State University’s National Institute for Aviation Research (Wichita, Kan., U.S.) has announced the release of its first approved additive manufacturing qualification program, for ULTEM 9085 resin by Stratasys (Eden Prairie, Minn., U.S.).
ULTEM 9085 resin is said to feature a high strength-to-weight ratio, high thermal and chemical resistance, and good flame, smoke and toxicity (FST) ratings.
