(Ålesund, Norway), a business of Hexagon Composites, has received two new orders related to its Titan product line, which includes what the company claims to be the world’s largest composite pressure vessels, offers multiple configurations for high-volume gas delivery. Titan modules also reduce plumbing complexity and maximize uptime reliability.

A new order for the delivery of Titan Mobile Pipeline modules to transport and deliver renewable natural gas (RNG) derived from agricultural waste was received from RenewGas Transportation (Boston, Mass., U.S.). The order represents an estimated value of $4.5 million (approximately NOK 44 million).

“As we continue to grow our fleet of modules to transport RNG, Hexagon Agility has been a key partner,” Matt Smith, president and founder of RenewGas Transportation, says. “We are focused on providing the most reliable and safe RNG transport solutions in the renewables industry, and Hexagon Agility trailers have proven to meet our and our customers’ high-performance requirements.”

Research shows that RNG derived from agricultural waste when used as transportation fuel can offer more than a 200% improvement in well-to-wheel emission reductions compared to diesel. RNG results in substantial reductions of greenhouse gas emissions when compared to any other clean energy solution available today. In addition, RNG is a drop-in fuel supported by the vast natural gas pipeline infrastructure, which enables immediate deployment and provides significant environmental benefits.

Deliveries of the modules are scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Another order for Hexagon Agility’s Titan Mobile Pipeline modules has also been received from Permian Global Inc. (London, U.K.) d/b/a Core Automated Fueling Solutions and Core Natural Gas (Core, Midland, Texas, U.S.), to accelerate the adoption of natural gas in the energy sector. Core Natural Gas is a provider of compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling solutions.

The order, with an estimated value of $4.7 million (approximately NOK 46 million), is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of 2023.
