Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials, R3 form alliance
The alliance will center around the design, development and production of advanced carbon-based composites, including mobility applications.

(MCAM; Lenzburg, Switzerland) global manufacturer of high-performance thermoplastic materials announced on Sept. 1 its strategic alliance with (Grabill, Ind., U.S.) a Tier 1 supplier in compression molded thermoset products to combine both company’s expertise to offer comprehensive solutions to customers in North America.
MCAM is said to currently provide carbon-reinforced composites for automotive applications as a Tiered supplier to the automotive industry. Similarly, R3 Composites, which produces Class A and semi-structural SMC glass-based products, is a Tier One manufacturer in the automotive and heavy truck industries. According to MCAM, the alliance will center around the design, development and production of advanced carbon-based composites, including mobility applications.
