HPC Research awarded grant for composite pressure cylinder research

LPG composite cylinders manufacturer HPC Research s.r.o. (Prague, Czech Republic) and the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences (Prague) have been awarded a grant from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic to develop automated technology for production of new-generation, high-tech composite pressure cylinders.
HPC Research s.r.o. reports that it is the main principal of grant project and is engaged in scientific development and production of innovative composite cylinders. The grant total is 9,415,000 Kč (€363,000 or $370,727 USD).
The new technology aims to optimize serial production of light and safe composite cylinders for high-pressure technical gases in various industries such as transportation and medicine.
