From April 25-27, 2023, JEC World returned to its full strength, giving exhibitors and attendees in the composites industry three days of highly productive business activities, expertise and knowledge sharing. A large selection of equipment and machines in operation were visible on the show floor, highlighting everything from automated and robotized processes, including large-scale additive manufacturing technologies, to electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and high-end sports cars. The JEC Mobility and Industry planets (with 80+ parts and products), as well as dedicated exhibitions like the 3D Printing and Natural Fibers Villages, provided the opportunity to showcase key industry trends.

Event organizers cite 40,200+ professional visits from more than 106 countries, attending conferences, product and technology displays from 1,200 exhibitors. Twenty-six national and regional pavilions set the stage for leading countries and regions in the field of composites manufacturing — the top 10 countries include France, Germany, Italy, the U.K., Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Korea , Turkiye and the U.S. It should be noted that there was also an increased attendance in high-level decision-makers from Asia, especially from India, Japan, South Korea and China.

Gathering under one roof as many global companies as SMEs, the event also presented a selection of startups — among more than 150 scouted every year by the JEC team — that, powered by a dedicated business meetings platform, enabled more than 7,000 face-to-face meetings during the three days, an increase of 30% over 2022.

More than 600 product launches and announcements were cited during this year’s show. Celebrating their 25th anniversary, the JEC Composites Innovation Awards recognized 11 collaborative achievements, and the JEC Composites Startup Booster competition rewarded three projects showing impressive market potential.

JEC World 2024 will return to Paris Nord Villepinte in March 5-7, 2024.
