Fiber Polymer Composites in Construction conference scheduled for 2021
FPCC is a collaborative conference between Composites UK and Fluency Marketing and will be held Sept. 7-9, 2021, at the University of Southampton.

(Hertfordshire, U.K.), the U.K. composites industry association, and Fluency Marketing (Chesterfield, U.K.), the conference provider for advanced materials and engineering focused marketing, report that they will collaborate to deliver a three-day, peer-reviewed international academic conference, (FPCC). The conference will focus on the development and application of fiber polymer composite materials across the construction and infrastructure sectors.
Bringing together academics and industry leaders to celebrate achievements and ongoing research in fiber polymer, the conference will be held at the University of Southampton Sept. 7-9, 2021. Aligned with the EN Eurocodes, FPCC will showcase research from across the globe, peer reviewed by its panel.
The conference is now inviting potential speakers to submit an abstract. Limited to 250 words, the abstract must include contact details of the corresponding author and any affiliation of co-authors, which can be submitted via the website or emailed to info@fpcc-conference.com. The deadline for abstracts is Nov. 27, 2020, and the deadline for full papers is March 26, 2021, once abstract is accepted.
Some proposed topics for the conference include FRP structures and components; durability, long-term performance and testing; damage mechanics and failure criteria; design and analysis; FRP reinforcement or prestressing; strengthening of reinforced concrete; metallic and timber structures; confinement and prestressed systems; strengthening of masonry or steel; and FRP structures and joints.
