Angels Aircraft launches pre-seed round to build Archangel UAV
First scalable, flight-ready prototype will incorporate high-rate composites manufacturing, a blended wing airframe and an autonomy-first architecture.

On June 4, (Austin, Texas, U.S.) announced the launch of its pre-seed funding round to develop Archangel, a fully autonomous, high-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) purpose-built for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and light strike missions.
The hardware-driven platform is engineered for scalable, autonomous operations in both military and commercial domains. Archangel is to feature a blended wing airframe with an autonomy-first architecture that is optimized for long-endurance missions and manufacturing efficiency. The company is using high-rate composites manufacturing “adapted from adjacent industries,” and a capital-efficient strategy focused on rapid iteration, low cost and scalable production to make the UAV a reality.
This pre-seed raise will fund the design, construction and ground testing of the first flight-ready prototype and lay the groundwork for a full-scale production system. It will also validate key flight systems and avionics as well as advance supplier integration and strategic partnerships.
