The 2025 Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX) is set for Sept. 8-11 at the in Orlando, Florida. Considered to be the largest composites trade event in North America (CAMX 2024 including exhibitors and attendees), CAMX is co-hosted by the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA, Arlington, Va., U.S.) and the Society for Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE, Diamond Bar, Calif., U.S.).
CAMX’s 11th annual event once again promises opportunities for connecting with hundreds of industry suppliers about their services and technologies on the show floor, a full conference and schedule of educational events, and dedicated networking events and areas of the show. This year, the conference will take place Sept. 8-11; the exhibit hall will be open Sept. 9-11.
Keynote speaker: “Unlocking Tomorrow”
Kicking off the main event schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 9 will be the General Session including this year’s keynote speaker, Sheryl Connelly. Connelly is a former chief futurist at Ford Motor Co., and her presentation, “Unlocking Tomorrow: How Innovation is Shaping the Future of Manufacturing,” aims to inspire and equip attendees with the tools to lead their companies toward new innovation.

Beyond the formal conference schedule, there are a variety of other educational opportunities at the event. This includes the return of Good Day, CAMX, which this year is bringing a panel of four next-generation composites engineers and entrepreneurs to the stage, and a schedule of presentations in the CAMX Theater found on the show floor.

Engage in networking events, celebrate industry achievements
There are also several dedicated networking events and spaces at this year’s show to meet like-minded individuals across the industry.
These include a first-time attendee orientation as well as an end-of-day welcome reception on Tuesday, Sept. 9, and a young professionals meet-up on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
New to CAMX 2025, the Hive — formerly known as Park Place — is a dedicated area on the show floor to meet up with new and familiar industry faces. Sponsored by ST Engineering, The Hive will have a variety of activities available to attendees and exhibitors alike, include Ask the Experts.
