Novotech, a company that innovates in the aerospace sector of composites and light seaplanes

Novotech, founded in 1992 as a spin-off of the Federico II University of Naples, with production centers in Casoria (NA) and Avetrana (TA), represents an absolutely cutting-edge reality in the field of aerospace research and innovation. With over 30 years of experience, Novotech has consolidated its position thanks to constant collaboration with important companies such as Leonardo, Avio Space, MBDA and Collins Aerospace, developing technological solutions for the automation of composite material production processes. «Collaborating with large companies on challenging and complex projects, in addition to being a source of pride, allows us to acquire knowledge and skills useful for the development of proprietary projects such as the Seagull amphibious aircraft, on which we are working to create several innovative versions», says Prof. Leonardo Lecce, founder of Novotech and, for years, professor at Federico II. It is a two-seater ultralight amphibious seaplane that combines innovation and versatility, with extensive use of composite materials and a patented system of automated folding wings. Novotech is also working on a 4-seater hybrid twin-engine version intended for the US market as an LSA (Light Sport Aircraft) and a fully electric e-VTOL vertical take-off version, also suitable for drone functions. These projects have allowed Novotech to strengthen its position as one of the most innovative European SMEs in the aerospace sector.
