Teijin Aramid (Arnhem, Netherlands) introduces Twaron Next, a high-performance para-aramid engineered with a clear focus on sustainability. The composite material combines strength, durability and thermal resistance with options designed to reduce environmental impact.
Twaron Next is available in two sustainability-driven variants:
- Circular content: Incorporates reclaimed aramid fibers from Teijin Aramid’s production waste, reducing COâ‚‚ emissions by up to 25% compared to industry-average benchmarks.
- Bio-based feedstock: Produced using renewable feedstocks for the polymer backbone, reducing dependence on fossil-based raw materials.
Twaron Next is suitable for use in protective clothing, automotive components like tires and hoses, offshore energy solutions and multiple industrial composites. Its mechanical properties and reliability make it a strong choice for industries seeking materials that meet strict performance requirements while advancing sustainability goals. Twaron Next is now available worldwide.
