Janicki (Sedro-Woolley, Wash., U.S.) is a privately owned engineering and manufacturing company that designs and builds composite and metallic tooling, parts, prototypes and assemblies for a wide range of industries, including aerospace, defense, urban air mobility, architecture, marine, energy and transportation.
With more than 30 years of experience, Janicki has grown into a vertically integrated, one-stop shop that supports projects from initial design through final delivery. The company delivers solutions across the full product life cycle, whether for one-off tooling, early stage prototyping or high-rate, full-scale part and assembly production. Its flexible approach enables customers to engage at any stage of development.
Janicki’s operations include 950,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Washington and more than 100,000 square feet in Utah. A new production facility will be added to the Hamilton, Washington, campus in early 2026, further expanding manufacturing capacity and technical capabilities to meet increasing demand across industries.
The company operates a broad range of advanced equipment, including multiple large-scale autoclaves, ovens, brake presses, waterjets, plasma cutters, CNC machine shops, ply cutters, industrial freezers and metrology and nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment. Janicki also owns 10 five-axis mills with work envelopes up to 110 feet in length. These are powered by proprietary CNC software that uses custom volumetric error compensation algorithms to deliver consistent high accuracy and precision across large parts.
Janicki employs more than 1,700 people, including over 300 engineers. The company supports its programs with a dedicated in-house R&D team and full-service materials laboratory. Cross-functional teams are recognized for delivering high-tolerance, complex builds under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Customer collaboration is central to Janicki’s process. Engineering and program teams work directly with clients and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle to align objectives, schedules and technical requirements. By fostering clear communication and close coordination, Janicki ensures program success at every step.
