Metyx (Istanbul, Turkey and Gastonia, N.C., U.S.) is a comprehensive partner for the composites industry, offering manufacturing everything from multiaxial reinforcements and specialty fabrics to vacuum consumables, kitting services and full-scale plug and mold production.
A key highlight at this year’s show is Metybond, Metyx’s self-adhesive reinforcement range that brings smart solutions to composite layups. Designed to simplify processing and reduce consumable use, Metybond features a precision-applied adhesive on one or both sides of the fabric, making it automation-friendly and ideal for RTM, light RTM (L-RTM) and vacuum infusion processes. It is compatible with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems, and is available in a wide range of formats including rolls and custom kits.
Also on display is the company’s latest continuous filament mat (CFM) innovations:
Matvantage Plus is a pure, stitch-bonded CFM developed to deliver high tensile strength, weight consistency and clean processing across composite applications. With no binder and no loose fibers, the mat offers easy handling, strong dry tensile properties and reliable performance — especially where adaptable shaping and mechanical strength are required. Its soft texture enables it to conform to complex geometries, while maintaining optimal stability throughout processing.
Matvantage PV combines the benefits of Matvantage Plus with an integrated surface veil, enhancing surface appearance, weatherability and finish quality. The co-processed veil minimizes print-through and promotes uniform surface color and texture, making it ideal for visible or exterior-facing composite parts that require both structural integrity and visual appeal.
Metyx also supports its customers with tools like Metycalc for laminate cost estimation and planning. With more than 20 years of expertise and six production facilities across Europe and the U.S., the company says it delivers reliable materials, expert technical support and complete solutions.
