SAMPE Europe will hold its annual Executive Summit on March 4, 2024, at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel Hotel. Scheduled for one day prior to JEC World, the Executive Summit program offers 12 high-level lectures by 14 covering composites-related innovations in automotive and transport, space and aerospace, advanced materials and process engineering, as well as challenging applications in other markets like architecture, construction, sports, energy, marine and others.

Featuring speakers from China, Japan, the U.S. and Europe, sessions include:

• “Challenging composites at the Olympics 2024” — Jörg Kaufmann, Chemnitz University of Technology (Silbaerg, Germany)
• “Thermoplastic applications in Olympic cycling and more” — Yannick Willemin, 9T Labs (Zurich, Switzerland)
• “Towards certification of composite aerospace structures by simulation” — Javad Fatemim, Airbus Netherlands
• “The future of supersonic commercial air travel” — Andries Buitenhuis, Boom Supersonic (Centennial, Colo., U.S.)
• “The Multifunctional Fuselage Demonstrator technologies as enabler for more sustainable passenger aircraft fuselages” — Ralf Herrmann, Cleansky2 MFFD leader, Airbus Operations (Bremen, Germany)

The conference day starts at 9 a.m. and includes a networking dinner in the Pullman offering a view the Eiffel Tower. Summit attendees include managers of CEO and CTO level in leading companies, as well as engineers, scientists and professionals from throughout the advanced materials and processes industry and universities. Members and non-members of SAMPE, as well as Master and Ph.D. students, are invited to participate.
