Reinforce 3D forms alliance with 3D printing company Spring Srl

Reinforce 3D (Tarragona, Spain) and (Monteviale, Italy), a service bureau leader in additive manufacturing (AM) and part engineering, have formalized a strategic alliance to drive innovation in high-performance materials and manufacturing processes with the adoption of Reinforce 3D’s continuous fiber injection process (CFIP) technology.
Integration of CFIP with Spring Srl’s AM and advanced engineering expertise will facilitate the development of reinforced structural components with improved mechanical properties, enhanced durability and optimized weight-performance ratios. Such components will target industries like aerospace, automotive and industrial engineering, among others.
Under this alliance, partners will also collaborate to enhance the capabilities of CFIP technology in large-scale manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration with existing production techniques. This includes refining reinforcement methodologies, expanding material compatibility and establishing new standards in composites performance, with a strong emphasis on scalability, automation and performance optimization — extensive FEM/FEA simulations, mechanical validation and production runs.
Reinforce 3D recently announced another partnership with Bauer Hockey to advance composite sports equipment production, also through integration of CFIP.
