The Gill Corp., Gurit, Syensqo, Carbitex, GE Aerospace and the University of Southern Queensland have made new appointments or announced upcoming leadership transitions within the composites industry.
The Gill Corp. welcomes new COO

The Gill Corp. (El Monte, Calif., U.S.) announce the appointment of Andrew Brandenburg as chief operating officer (COO). With more than 25 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, Brandenburg brings a wealth of expertise to help drive the El Monte facility’s continued growth.
In his role as COO, Brandenburg will oversee operations, including manufacturing, supply chain and planning, where he will spearhead operational initiatives, and foster high-performance teams. Holding an MBA and a BS in aeronautical engineering, his expertise spans people management, sales growth initiatives, global operations management and continuous improvement, demonstrating a strong blend of engineering and hands-on functional management experience and acquisition diligence.
Syensqo announces new CEO starting in 2026

Syensqo’s (Brussels, Belgium and Alpharetta, Ga., U.S.) Mike Radossich will be succeeding Dr. Ilham Kadri as CEO of Syensqo as of Jan. 1 2026. Kadri’s tenure has been transformative, the company says. She successfully completed the separation of Syensqo from Solvay in December 2023, with the two companies now financially sound and publicly listed.

Her vision, disciplined approach to capital allocation and relentless energy will leave an indelible legacy on our people, customers and shareholders. We wish her all the best in her next chapter.”
Radossich has a successful track record in transforming complex businesses and delivering growth and operational efficiency at global scale. He has worked at Syensqo and its predecessor companies for more than 30 years. As the current president of Syensqo’s Performance & Care and Other Solutions segments, he is responsible for overseeing four global business units which generated €2.8 billion in net sales in 2024. At Solvay Group, he helped the Novecare Business Unit deliver strong financial results and achieve sustainable and profitable growth. He had joined the group in the context of Solvay’s acquisition of Cytec Industries in 2015.

Carbitex makes strategic hire for flexible carbon fiber acceleration
(Kennewick, Wash., U.S.) announces the appointment of Adrienne Cristofoli as vice president (VP) of marketing. Cristofoli joins the team as the company enters a major growth phase that will see brand partnerships more than double from 2025 to 2026.

With the foundation established and demand accelerating, Carbitex is now focused on scaling its impact and elevating the role of flex as the next major frontier in footwear innovation. Cristofoli, based in Portland, Oregon, will lead efforts to define Carbitex’s brand voice, amplify brand partners and drive industry-wide recognition of flex as a critical performance attribute — one that has traditionally been treated as a byproduct of cushioning or stability rather than a performance driver in its own right.
“When we set out to find a marketing leader, we weren’t just looking for the right teammate with the right skill set, we were looking for someone with proven experience in executing unconventional campaigns,” says Junus Khan, president and founder of Carbitex. “Plenty of candidates resonated with our vision, but Adrienne stood out because she has actually brought technical ideas to market in a bold way that made them resonate. That is rare, and it’s exactly what Carbitex needs as we accelerate.”
Most recently, Cristofoli served as brand marketing director at SAXX Underwear, where she transformed patented innovation into simple, relatable stories that drove awareness and cultural relevance. Prior to SAXX, she spent more than a decade shaping billion-dollar brands like Huggies and Häagen-Dazs, as well as guiding challenger brands through high-growth phases.
“The opportunity to elevate the importance of flex in footwear — and to use Carbitex’s technology as the platform to tell that story — is exciting,” says Cristofoli. “I see an opportunity to make Carbitex as bold and distinctive as its innovation, and to establish it as a household name in the footwear space.”
As a former Division 1 track athlete, Cristofoli brings to Carbitex her competitive spirit and first-hand understanding of what athletes look for in performance. Cristofoli will build out marketing strategy and operations, working closely alongside Carbitex’s product development and sales teams as the company moves into the next chapter.
