As we celebrate lets take some time to consider some of the ways composites contribute to one of humankind’s most sought after pursuits — the quest for constant entertainment.
Composites play a role in the devices we use including laptops, tablets and cellphones. They are used in a wide array of sporting equipment from surfboards to golf clubs to tennis rackets. Carbon fiber is used in sailboats and for lightweight bicycles including everything from mountain bikes to racing bikes to compact folding bikes.
