Porcher Industries (Eclose-Badinières, France), a company that develops and produces high-performance textiles and thermoplastic solutions, is highlighting three technology solutions that showcase its commitment and ability to support all players in the composites value chain.
At JEC World 2025, the company launches the Composite Application Lab (CAL), a service designed to accelerate innovation in textiles and thermoplastic solutions. Acting as a true application laboratory, the CAL supports clients in creating tailor-made solutions.
With CAL, Porcher says its key objectives are to deliver innovation by leveraging expertise in technical materials; support the development of prototypes and small production runs for enhanced responsiveness; and facilitate the transition to thermoplastic solutions using the vacuum-bag only (VBO) process.
The company also introduces its Peel Ply textile range specifically engineered to optimize the manufacturing process of composite parts. Features include optimal dimensional stability to ensure a reliable manufacturing process; easy removal, thanks to precise fabric tension management; and a uniform weave, promoting strong and consistent bonding.
Targeted at demanding industries such as aerospace and industrial manufacturing, this range combines technical performance with ease of use, making it ideal for complex industrial processes.
In addition, in collaboration with Airbus (Toulouse, France), Porcher Industries presents an innovative aerospace cockpit panel prototype made with materials optimized for vacuum bag consolidation. The vacuum bag-consolidated glass fiber-reinforced thermoplastic panel — on display at the company’s booth and at JEC’s Mobility Planet — features thinner, lightweight material, making it easy to assembly, enhanced recyclability with the use of thermoplastics and provides an opportunity to reduce the use of paints and varnishes, thanks to a naturally optimized surface.
