Maverick Corp. sister company sold to Loar Group
Maverick Molding, sister company of high-temperature polyimide supplier Maverick Corp., was acquired by New York-based Loar Group.
Maverick Corp. (Blue Ash, OH, US) has announced that it has divested its sister company, Maverick Molding Co., to The Loar Group (New York, NY, US).
Maverick is a material supplier of high-temperature polyimide resins for the aerospace composites market. Maverick Corp., founded in 1993, has always been a legally separate entity from Maverick Molding. “It is important for our customers to know that Maverick Corporation was not part of the acquisition and our supply of polyimide resins to the prepreg, adhesive and RTM markets is unaffected by the Molding divesture,” says Eric Collins, CEO of Maverick Corp. “In fact, the sale of Molding frees up significant capital and technical resources needed to support the rapid growth of our prepreg resins and adhesives.”
Maverick Corp.’s high-temperature polyimide prepreg resins and adhesives are available exclusively from Renegade Materials Corp. (Miamisburg, OH, US). Dr. Robert Gray, president of Renegade Materials, states, “The Renegade-Maverick team is poised for explosive growth; we now have additional resources required to serve the growing needs of our customers.”
Maverick Molding is a niche component manufacturer of heat-resistant bushings, washers and thermal insulators. Maverick Molding is a strategic addition to Loar’s growing global alliance of aerospace and defense component manufacturers.
