FACC receives Aero Excellence Award in support of composites and aviation resiliency
The award, received by FACC and 11 other aviation companies, recognizes high manufacturing standards, highlights a strategy for improving international supply chains.

(Ried im Innkreis, Austria) announces that it has received the Aero Excellence Award in bronze for plant four in Reichersberg (Austria). The company, serving the aerocomposites industry, is one of only 11 aviation companies worldwide to have received the international award, celebrating high standards in manufacturing.
Aero Excellence was launched in 2023 by the national European aerospace associations in Germany, France and the U.K. as a uniform quality standard to further improve the performance and competitiveness of participating companies in the international market. The initiative is supported in particular by industry giants such as Airbus, Safran, Collins Aerospace, an RTX Business, and many others.
Organization and resource management, planning and logistics, supply chain management, industrialization and quality, and manufacturing excellence are in the foreground — topics that are of high relevance for the aviation industry and that are already deeply anchored in the strategy and corporate culture of FACC.
The company tells CW that the award is an additional milestone for the composites industry, which is further pushing for quality and efficiency throughout the supply chain, and therefore is supporting the current ramp-up of aviation.
By 2025, IATA is expecting 5.2 billion passengers worldwide; by 2043, more than 42,000 new passenger aircraft for the commercial aircraft market are anticipated. Ultimately, FACC says, performance and quality will be paramount to achieving these goals.
