The two-day event will share new applications and best practices from industry leaders who have:
- designed, simulated and modeled materials, parts and processes for improved manufacturability;
- reduced material costs for both current and next-generation raw and intermediary, while maintaining quality and capacity for scale-up;
- and optimized process automation to reduce the number of manufacturing steps and improve processing reliability and consistency.
The conference program will feature several panels. Keynote presenter Randy Wilkerson, technical fellow at Boeing, will share the latest processes and applications for thermoplastic composites in aerospace and aviation.
“The emergence of thermoplastic composites in all market segments has been tremendous, and composites manufacturers and suppliers must be ready to design and model the materials, parts and processes that will expand the capacity of OEMs to deliver groundbreaking products and experiences to their customers. From autonomous vehicles to urban air mobility, the cutting-edge innovation in thermoplastic composites materials and applications will shape the future,” says Tom Dobbins, ACMA president.
Additionally, the conference will feature two exclusive facility tours of companies using thermoplastic materials, allowing attendees to see how these companies use technology and new applications to incorporate thermoplastic materials into their production. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share and learn from each other and leading industry experts during several networking receptions and coffee breaks with exhibitors.
Special early registration and housing rates increase after April 7.
