Entropy Resins (Bay City, Mich., U.S.), a Gougeon Brothers Inc. brand specializing in sustainable epoxy formulations, announces the launch of BIOinfusion, an epoxy system designed specifically for vacuum infusion and many other closed-mold composite processes.
Designed with 32% bio-based content and optimized for high mechanical performance, BIOinfusion ensures proper wet-out and reduced viscosity for a smooth flow and optimal fiber penetration, and offers improved processing efficiency. Ideal for use in marine, automotive, aerospace, sporting goods and various industrial applications, it is meant as a reliable, sustainable alternative for composites development without sacrificing strength, durability and thermal stability.
BIOinfusion is UV-resistant for clear carbon fiber parts with enhanced gloss retention and resistance to yellowing. It is also compatible with various reinforcement materials and molding techniques. Tinted options are available for visual quality control.
In addition to BIOinfusion, Entropy Resins offers a range of other bio-based epoxies tailored for diverse applications.
