Utah Lt. Governor to make keynote address at composites workshop

Composites One (Arlington Heights, IL, US) has announced that Spencer J. Cox, Lieutenant Governor of Utah, will make the keynote address at Fly Away with Composites, an advanced composites workshop focused on the aerospace and consumer recreation markets. Lt. Governor Cox is scheduled to address workshop attendees on Tuesday, August 21.
To be held August 21-22 at Davis Technical College in Clearfield, UT, US, is the latest in a series of educational events presented by Composites One and the Closed Mold Alliance in partnership with the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI, Knoxville, TN, US). The event will feature presentations and live demonstrations by industry experts on such topics as thermoplastics, prepreg (autoclave and out-of-autoclave), 3D printing, vacuum infusion, high temperature tooling and thermoforming. There will also be a special track just for students considering the composites program at Davis Technical College.
