Architect Equity acquires AAR's Aerospace Composites Division
The division is now doing business under Aeromatrix Composites, but will continue to design, fabricate and assemble composite products and solutions for its customers.
Private investment firm Architect Equity (El Segundo, Calif., U.S.) announced on August 31 that it has acquired the Aerospace Composites Division of (Wood Dale, Ill., U.S.), a global aerospace and defense aftermarket solutions company. The division is now doing business as Aeromatrix Composites but will continue to be based in Clearwater, Florida. Aeromatrix designs, fabricates and assembles composite products and solutions for customers in the commercial aerospace and defense industries.
According to Dionisio Lucchesi, managing director of Architect Equity, the company looks forward to bringing its financial and operational resources to support Aeromatrix Composites’ growth plans.
“Architect was a valued partner throughout the process,” says Brian Sartain, senior vice president of Repair and Engineering at AAR. “The spirit of teamwork with which the transaction was carried out will ensure that Aeromatrix Composites continues to seamlessly serve its customers.”
