(Carson City, Nev., U.S.) is providing live demonstrations of the company’s entry-level atmospheric plasma system, which has the ability to improve printing and material bonding. Attendees have the chance to see and use a Plasma Wand atmospheric plasma cleaner; attendees are encouraged to bring their own samples for cleaning and activation.
The Plasma Wand is an R&D-scale hand-held atmospheric plasma system for spot cleaning and research work. It’s about the size of an electric toothbrush and requires only electricity to operate; no input gas is needed. The Plasma Wand can provide atmospheric plasma capable of increasing bond strength and printability of most surfaces.
Plasma Etch also offers larger scale atmospheric units. Most atmospheric units can be integrated into production lines as well as partially to fully automated systems.
The company has information on-site about its entry-level systems, benchtop systems and production scale cleaning, desmear, polymerization andetch back plasma equipment, including the PE-5000 extra large plasma treatment system.
