Desi Banatao

Global Sales Manager, Entropy Resins

Desi Banatao is a seasoned materials science professional and co-founder of Entropy Resins, a company that pioneered the introduction of biobased epoxy formulations for composite applications. In 2018, Gougeon Brothers, Inc. acquired Entropy Resins, and Desi currently serves as the global sales manager. With a diverse background in developing and commercializing advanced material systems, his expertise spans sectors ranging from semiconductors to polymers. Previously, he has held roles at IBM, Inphi Corporation and Connora Technologies, where he contributed to developing the first recyclable thermoset resin system. Desi holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in material science and engineering from UC Berkeley.
