Graphene Council launches partnership with GEIC
The partnership the Graphene Engineering and Innovation Centre (GEIC) in the U.K. will provide GEIC facility and network accessibility for Graphene Council members.

(New Bern, N.C., U.S.), a global trade and professional association for producers, users and researchers of graphene, announced on June 3 its partnership with The (GEIC) at the University of Manchester (Manchester, U.K.). The partnership will establish a program that will give more companies and organizations greater access to Tier II Partnership benefits at the GEIC.
A Tier II Membership in the GEIC provides organizations with credits that can be applied to both facilities and staff when conducting graphene-related projects. In order to allow a greater number of graphene innovators to make use of these facilities at a more manageable fee level, The Graphene Council is making available a “consortia level” membership, exclusively accessible to Graphene Council member organizations.
“Having worked with The Graphene Council for several years now, we are very pleased to take our partnership and collaboration to a new level,” notes James Baker, GEIC CEO. “By working with The Graphene Council as a formal Tier II level partner, Graphene Council Member companies will have an opportunity to access the facilities and talent at the GEIC in a way they could not do on their own.”
