ÂÌñÏ×ÆÞ announces the next installment in its annual Tech Days online event series will be “High-Temperature Composite Solutions for Defense and Space Applications.” The event is scheduled to take place Oct. 16, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET.

As defense and space missions push the boundaries of performance, the demand for advanced materials that can endure extreme environments and conditions continues to grow. Along these lines, CW’s fall 2025 online industry education series will explore the latest developments in high-temperature composite materials, with a focus on lightweight, thermally stable solutions designed to meet the rigorous requirements of modern aerospace and defense systems.

The CW Tech Days will feature presentations from industry experts providing valuable insight into:

  • Composite solutions capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 800°C and ultra-high temperatures to 2000°C.
  • The role of high-temperature thermosets (for example, polyimide, BMI) ceramic matrix composites (CMC), carbon/carbon (C/C) and related materials in mission-critical components.
  • Key challenges in design, fabrication, testing and certification of high-temperature systems.
  • Solutions for meeting high-rate production of high-temp components at low cost.
  • Real-world applications in hypersonics, propulsion systems, thermal protection and structural components and assemblies.

Make sure to keep an eye out for updates here leading up to the event.
