“Recycling” and “recyclability” have become key catchphrases in a majority of, if not all, sectors served by the composites industry. Even among political uncertainties there seems to be no intention of slowing down — there is still a need to find a solution for manufacturing scrap or parts, and ongoing technological innovations and proactive policy measures at various levels continue to support and advance these initiatives. In addition, the list of active players — whether startups primarily focused on composites recycling, or well-established companies ramping up their activities — is numerous and still growing.
With recycling becoming an increasing popular and important aspect of the composites industry, ÂÌñÏ×ÆÞ has taken the time to collate a list of domestic and international players. Whether you’re looking for a composites recycler, or a company that provides equipment/technologies to achieve recycling of products at end of life, we hope this list serves as a guide for your needs and interests.
“Advancing the recyclability of composite materials isn’t just a technical challenge — it’s an industry imperative,” says CW editor-in-chief Scott Francis. “As demand for sustainable solutions grows, the work being done today to develop effective recycling pathways will help improve the long-term viability and environmental responsibility of composites across sectors. We hope this tool helps connect companies working in this important area.”
The complete list can be found at the “Sustainability” page found under the “Featured” tab of the website navigation bar. It has been split into two sections: Composites recyclers, and companies that are offering equipment and technologies that can aid in composites recycling. Each section displays company names alphabetically. For more information about a particular company and contact information (if it was available), users can either click on the linked “About the Company” section on the far right of the document, or scroll further down the page to find it.

Please note: All content in this list is represented to the best of CW’s abilities and is based on information received by said companies or, in some cases, what has been made publicly available on their website. Companies mentioned are those that have been found through research and various outreach and this list is in no way comprehensive — data will be updated as more information becomes available.
“Developing and maturing recycling technologies is vital, but is only step one. The next step is connecting composites manufacturers, recyclers and potential end users of recycled materials so that a supply chain can be built up. I am excited to see this supplier resource come to fruition, and look forward to seeing both the list itself and the real-life connections within the industry continue to grow,” says CW technical editor Hannah Mason.
