(Atlanta, Ga., U.S.) is a manufacturer of high-performance epoxy systems that include aerospace adhesives, syntactics, liquid shims, conductive epoxies, sealants, joint fillers and a wide variety of resins for RTM/VARTM, filament winding, potting and encapsulating epoxies, tooling and casting and coatings, as well as fire-retardant resins. The company introduces Magnolia 7018 A/B, a next-generation syntactic epoxy adhesive for aerospace and advanced composite applications.
Magnolia 7018 A/B is a two-component syntactic epoxy adhesive designed as a high-strength, flame-retardant product. It is used for insert potting, edge fill and ditch and pot applications for metal, plastic and paper honeycomb core in aerospace and advanced composite applications. According to the company, Magnolia 7018 A/B does not contain any halogenated components or substances of very high concern (SVHC).
Magnolia says the key features of Magnolia 7018 A/B include low density, excellent extrudability that is suitable for meter mix equipment and available in a wide range of packaging, including pre-packaged kits, semkits and bulk.
