TPI, GE Vernova expand wind blade production contract in Mexico
Additional production lines in a third facility within TPI’s Juarex campus will manufacture GE Vernova’s latest wind turbine blade type.

TPI Composites Inc. (TPI, Scottsdale, Ariz., U.S.) has signed an expanded supply agreements with GE Vernova (Cambridge, Mass., U.S.) in Mexico, with additional production lines in a third facility within TPI’s Juarex campus to manufacture GE Vernova’s “workhorse” wind turbine blade for the U.S. market.
“This expansion of our partnership supports GE Vernova’s ability to competitively serve the U.S. market and represents a new level of technical collaboration between our teams for the launch of GE Vernova’s latest blade design,” Bill Siwek, president and CEO of TPI, notes.
GE Vernova has maintained a long-standing partnership with TPI in Juarez since 2008. Guy Lynch, executive director of global sourcing at GE Vernova Onshore Wind, believes that “this expansion … enables GE Vernova to best serve our customers who are delivering the future of renewable energy.”
TPI Composites also expanded supply agreements with Nordex earlier this month with two additional lines.
